Resumo O presente artigo tem por objetivo elucidar o conceito de transtorno anti-social e psicopatia, suas diferenças e semelhanças, conforme a classe científica determina nos dias atuais, descritos no DSM-IV e CID 10, buscando reflexão das possíveis causas do surgimento da personalidade psicopática no indíviduo se utilizando das pesquisas na área das neurociências, através da neuroimagem que apresentam diferenças nas atividades neurais e nas estruturas cerebrais de pessoas com a psicopatia, incluindo um estudo de ordem genética e biológica, e da psicanálise na formação da estrutura psíquica e das suas instâncias compostas do Id, Ego e Superego, expondo a importância das questões ambientais, familiares e sociais, conforme a teoria de Winnicott na compreensão do transtorno, fazendo uma articulação entre as teorias pesquisadas. A pesquisa aponta para fatores multicausais na formação da psicopatia e traz a necessidade da contínua pesquisa sobre o tema.

Abstract This article aims to clarify the concept of anti-social disorder and psychopathy, their differences and similarities, as science determines the class today, described in the DSM-IV and ICD-10, seeking consideration of the possible causes of the emergence of psychopathic personality the individual is using the neurosciences, neuroimaging by presenting differences in neural activity in brain structures and people with psychopathy, including a study of genetic and biological, and, and psychoanalysis in the formation of psychic structure and its bodies composed of the Id, Ego and Superego, indicating the importance of environmental issues, family and social, as Winnicotts theory in understanding the disorder understanding of the disorder, making a connection between the theories surveyed. The research points to multi-causal factors in the formation of psychopathy and brings the need for continued research on the subject.
